Update (January 1st, 2011):
The 4th Israel Strategy Conference, held last week at the Technion was once again a fabulous success, attracting much attention, and exceeding the expectations of many participants. It was a great opportunity to meet colleagues and attend exiting sessions. About 140 attendees enjoyed a rich program that included 50 papers and posters, three keynote sessions, a special panel on innovation and an unforgettable social event. With about 80% of the presenters arriving from abroad, ISC 2010 was a truly international conference.
The winner of the ISC Best Paper Award for 2010 is:
"Leopards Sometimes Change Their Spots: How Firms Manage a Shift between Strategic Archetypes"
Howard H. Yu
(Harvard University). The author of the winning paper received a plaque and a $1,000 award in the concluding session of the conference.

In a continuous effort to develop a thriving international community of
strategic management scholars and promote the field of strategic management
in Israel, we are proud to announce the 4th Israel Strategy Conference (ISC2010)
to be held at the Technion in Haifa, Israel, on December 27-29, 2010. The tentative program
features several prominent keynote speakers including,
Michael Lubatkin (University of Connecticut), Brian Silverman (University
of Toronto) and Howard Thomas (Singapore Management University). ISC2010, sponsored by the Israel Science
Foundation and the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, will offer
a unique opportunity to present innovative ideas and explore recent developments
and emerging issues in strategic management, as well as receive feedback
on work-in-progress, and network with colleagues. The conference will also
include a doctoral consortium (see consortium page).
